Business trip for Swedish Food Companies to Hamburg

Welcome to attend a business trip to Hamburg to learn more about the German food market and Hamburg as a business location.

Why Hamburg?

The Hamburg Metropolitan Region is the centre of northern Germany. It comprises of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and seventeen districts, Lübeck, Schwerin and Neumünster, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and has a total population of approximately 5.3 million.

One of Hamburg's strengths is its diversified economic structure, of which the food sector is an important part. A new food cluster is being set up with the aim of strengthening and developing Hamburg as a food location and creating an innovative start-up scene. The cluster will help companies in the food sector to cope better with the expected market challenges and to network with scientific research in Hamburg and with other food companies.
